Harare – The 2018 edition of Tiyambuke International Christian Convention (TICC) will be marked by a three-pronged milestone during its duration from the 1st to the 9th of September.

The founding father, incumbent president and presiding bishop, Apostle Pride Sibiya attains 40 years on 5 September, with 23 of those years served ministering the undiluted gospel of Jesus Christ, while Glory Ministries turns 17.

Warmly referred to as Chabod (Kabod) in Glory Ministries’ close circles, Apostle Sibiya is a father to many sons, including Elder Tapiwa Zuze.

“Apostle Sibiya has fathered me for close to 7 years now, and for all that time I have come to partake, receive, be influenced, equipped, transformed and witnessed the full “Manifestation of God’s Glory on Earth” through the humble servant of the Most High.

“Without any shadow of doubt, I can testify that indeed my father is a Kingdom General who is busy 24/7 reproducing and “Building Kingdom Generals,” the administrator testified.

Apostle Sibiya is son to the late Stanley Sibiya and Lizzy Sibiya. Born in 1978, he is the only son in a family of three children anchored by two girls either side of his life. He is happily married to Pastor Anna Tendayi Sibiya, and his exemplary union is blessed with three daughters: Anouya, Anenyasha and Anaya.

As a small boy, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ in 1984 during an explosive crusade hosted by Evangelist Reinhardt Bonnke from Germany.
Apostle Sibiya has a traceable Christian history and once suffered occasional mental bouts at Zengeza 1 High School. Fast-forward to 2001, he founded Glory Ministries, and since then he has progressively grown to become an apostolic father to many people in the body of Christ.

The servant of God is an ordained apostle and bishop, and fathers/mentors many sons and daughters within and outside Glory Ministries; and within and outside Zimbabwe. Over the years his ministry and apostolic fatherhood has been authenticated by seasoned Kingdom Generals who have graced many events he has hosted, with TICC being the torch bearer.

Over the years, Apostle Sibiya has hosted his father, Apostle Alexander Chisango, his mentor Archbishop Asa Gurupira of FIG and Bishop Abel Sande. Evangelist Paul Saungweme, Bishop Ngwiza Mkandla and Apostle Alfred Jaka are some of the luminaries to grace various Glory Ministries gatherings.

In November 2016, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills prayed for him whilst in Zimbabwe and Bishop Tudor Bismark gave him a prophetic word.

“When you walked to the front (to teach), I saw your suit covered with flags! God has called you to the nations!”

Apostle Pride Sibiya As A Church Planter

During the initial Glory Ministries’ service in 2001, Apostle Sibiya was alone. International Overseer, Apostle Shiloh Masenyama became the first member. Over the last 17 years, God has enabled the church to grow to over 100 churches within Southern Africa and beyond.

Glory Ministries now houses five arms: Glory Churches, Dawn Evangelistic Ministry, City to City Intercessory Ministry, Youth Alive and Glory Conferences. Besides physical churches, Apostle Sibiya has established many virtual churches with thousands of followers through his online media platforms.
